We are excited to offer swimming lessons to all our campers in partnership with the Lifesaving Society’s Swim for Life program.
Our swim staff, consisting of certified instructors and lifeguards, ensure that campers not only develop essential swimming skills but remain safe in and around the water. In addition, responsible counselors from each camper’s group provide extra support and supervision, offering familiar faces and added safety in the pool area.
PLEASE NOTE:
The opportunity for campers to earn a swimming badge is available only to those enrolled in two or more weeks of our summer camp program. This allows ample time for campers to develop their swimming skills and meet the criteria for earning a badge. However, all campers (even those registered for one session) will still have the chance to work on their swimming skills and improve during their lessons, even if they don’t qualify for a badge.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does my child need to attend camp to get the opportunity to earn a badge?
Campers need to attend at least two sessions to complete the requirements for earning a swim badge. This ensures they have enough pool time to practice and demonstrate the necessary skills.
If my child is under the age for the Swimmer Level badges but is an experienced swimmer, can he/she still work towards the Swimming Level badges?
Yes! Skill level, not just age, determines the badge your child will work toward. Swim instructors will evaluate your child to ensure they are placed in the appropriate level to match their ability and challenge them effectively.
Are students evaluated on their skill before a badge level is determined?
Can Leadership Program attendees earn a badge?
Leadership Program participants will not earn standard swim badges. However, they will actively assist in swimming classes, gaining hands-on teaching experience, and have opportunities to work on improving their own swimming and lifesaving skills as part of the program.
Is swimming offered independently from the camp program?
No. Swimming lessons are provided as part of all summer camp programs (Junior, Youth and Leadership), and are not offered independently.
